RandomActsofKindness Past-to-Future Reading
Date of Reading: Sep 28, 2024
Past Life: The Star
Underlying energy: 6 of Cups
https://imgur.com/a/randomactsofkindness-past-life-VdiUy9B
Commentary:
A good combo. The Star is one of the best Major Arcana cards in the deck as it both looks to upcoming good future and tends to be celestial in nature.
Sri Arya says,
Self-confidence and inner strength to achieve all reasonable goals are available. It is a superlative spiritual energy. Waite called it 'Gifts of the Spirit' - but of so high a level that worldly rewards are just moderate at best...
Feeling in touch with something larger than yourself - call it Universe, God or Force. Beneficient and peaceful energy in all situations, but don't go looking for loads of money. Success is certain but not just yet. A heartening and joyful card.
Commentary:
I believe this is indicating the current life is not the first one to take up spiritual practices. The life immediately prior also did spiritual practices. 6 of Cups is about happiness which is often one outcome of doing spiritual practices.
Between: Knight of Wands
Underlying energy: King of Cups
https://imgur.com/a/randomactsofkindness-between-life-p7mJVGF
Commentary:
The energy is that of someone on a mission. Knight of Wands is someone who has a purpose they want to accomplish. King of Cups is the king of emotional balance even in bad times and so isn't easy to knock about. This combo clearly tells me the current incarnation is about bringing the five elements of the body and mind into greater balance.
Sri Arya writes of King of Cups,
Very accurate instincts but only average intuition. They read people well. Ability to take risks because of that talent. Of all Tarot personalities, most in touch with feminine side. Self-awareness is very advanced. Sensual and sociable, very miscible (ie. mixed) personality. Responsible and generous in equal measure. Social impact of all actions is very important to him. Does not fret about limitations or lack of fame. Keeps a level head in moments of high emotional excitement.
Present Life: 7 of Cups
Underlying energy: The Hermit
https://imgur.com/a/randomactsofkindness-present-life-fZLcdpw
Commentary:
7 of Cups is about choosing from many options.
The underlying energy of the Hermit is one of meditativeness and quiet solitude.
Sri Arya writes,
Exceedingly wise mentor and advisor, but do not expect practical help. Their work is never complete. Capable of concentrated, cumulative and dedicated effort. Superhuman discipline, aspirations and striving. The strong are never so strong as when they are alone. The period of retreat and contemplation needed to progress in spiritual and psychological growth. Usually ahead of their times and therefore incomprehensible when they seek to communicate their ideas and notions. Tend to favor rational approaches in all matters. Possessing secret knowledge. Dabbling in the occult and arcane byways of the spirit. Great knowledge, even wisdom, of traditional systems. Transmitter of culture and tradition. The light of the Hermit is the light of the invisible higher paths.
Commentary:
Some quiet time is well indicated here. Spending time with/in Mother Nature is particularly recommended and helpful to well-being.
Future Possibility: The Wheel of Fortune
Underlying energy: Temperance
https://imgur.com/a/randomactsofkindness-future-possiblity-mO17h8P
Commentary:
The Wheel of Fortune turned over upright. Good fortune is portended for the next life.
The energy underlying this is all five elements being brought into balance due to spiritual practice. Because of this your future life's capacity to create the kind of life desired is greatly expanded.

Transparent Oracle
First Card: Venus_Dir: Above card 48 - p. 124
https://imgur.com/a/venus-dir-above-card-48-1MwtoYB
Quote from the book on Venus:
Venus is one of the brightest and most beautiful objects in the night sky, so it is fitting that she also rules over not only physical beauty, but appreciation of beauty in all things. This stretches to include the creation of beautiful objects through art and a strongly refined aesthetic sense. Also, as a logical extension of her all-encompassing embrace of the qualities of love, she rules over procreation, motherhood, and protection of children. We may also see her influence in the love and companionship of good friends, even when the love is purely platonic.
Second Card: Guide_Bear_Dir: North card 36 - p. 98
https://imgur.com/a/guide-bear-dir-north-card-36-PudrhSF
With cards from the Above, the stellar aspect of Bear is emphasized.
Quote from the book on the stellar aspects of Guide: Bear.
Bear also has links with the stellar realm, through the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, meaning “Great Bear” and “Little Bear”, respectively. These are extremely important constellations, particularly in Hindu tradition, where Ursa Major is considered the source of all universal energy. Bear also has links with the Underworld, being considered a representative of the ancestors in many Native American traditions, thus linking through all three worlds. When we consider this, we can see what an important and valuable ally and guide Bear can be.
...and...
If Bear is combined with cards of its own direction, then it may mean a time of retreat from the world, akin to hibernation.
Third Card: Landscape_Forest_Dir: North card 35 - p. 97
https://imgur.com/a/landscape-forest-dir-north-card-35-TbJLyb6
If Forest appears with cards of its own direction, progress may seem slow and responsibility heavy.
"When cards from Above appear, then the realm of trees and nature offer a gateway to spirituality.

Commentary:
Both the tarot and the oracle are indicating that querant well-being would be enhanced with more relaxation, solitude and contact with Mother Nature. Also, endeavors into something creative is well-indicated. Something like painting, drawing, playing a music instrument, writing a novel, creating a new recipe, etc. Anything that has to do with creativity. Now is the time to just go for it!

Very cool!!!
In this life, I have a strong pull toward Water, so getting so many Cup cards seems appropriate.
Yes, I am on a mission. I am slowly figuring out what the mission is. My deities are pushing me to do something. Actually, they have pushed me to do many things, but all those things seem to point toward the Oracle I am developing.
I definitely prefer solitude to crowds. And I am a Druid... I definitely enjoy time with/in Mother Nature!
In terms of bringing five elements into balance, that is something I am working on. But I definitely favor Water, so I'm not in balance.
Interesting that my unconscious mind works better than my conscious mind. I often tuck ideas into my unconscious to let my unconscious sort things out and then pull things back out to see if the idea makes more sense. (Sometimes it does; sometimes it gets tucked back in for a bit.)
Crafty, yes. Fine arts, no. But crafty enough to sell stuff? Yes.
Interesting about the spectator bit. Yes, when things get uncomfortably emotional, I tend to detach.
The Alchemist card for Present Life seems quite appropriate, as for my Druid project, I am developing an Oracle based on Spiritual Alchemy. And recently, JMG had suggested I consider writing a book on Alchemy, which is not something I would have considered on my own. But that would count as a creative endeavor. I take your reading (especially the closing commentary) as encouraging that. Perhaps that is the mission I am supposed to be on.
All in all, there were many many details in this reading that matched me to a tea. And your summary commentary reinforces my feeling that the Oracle is something I am supposed to be doing (and eventually share). Thank you very much for your reading.
I read on MM that your cards broke. That is tragic. I very much appreciate this reading and have saved a copy so I can periodically review it. Thank you for doing it.
