Tanamous Past-Present-Future Life Reading
Hello Tanamous,
Thank you for agreeing to be my lab rat! I had a blast doing it. May you find something helpful and beneficial in the following spread.

Past Life: 5 of Swords
Underlying energy: The Emperor

Commentary:
5 of Swords is typically one of conflict. While not a great experience to live through it is often one way a life gets rid of burdensome karma so the soul can move forward. JMG has often written about this and Sri Arya agrees with him.
Sri Arya has this to say about 5 of Swords:
Such disasters are karmic challenges to overcome. Spiritually, it represents the sacrifices and struggles needed to break through to higher levels of awareness. In that sense, a very useful high energy card. In mundane terms, it is a disaster. Making resourceful use of an apparent disaster and its debris. Seeing opportunities and value in what has been discarded or abandoned. An impasse, not a victory, but that is the just outcome. A phase of reorganization and reorienting one's priorities. Being disappointed in people. In an extreme case of assault, the need to fight back savagely. Being cleared of wrongdoing and gossipy insinuations. Traditional meanings of attending a funeral and accidents waiting to happen are very germaine. Be careful what you pray for - you might get it!

Commentary:
The Empress is about abundance so the prior life succeeded in burning off a lot of negative karma. The underlying energy for the Empress is 3 of Pentacles - work.
One tarot website I used to use put the energy of 3 of Pentacles very well:
An emphasis on the fundamentals of hard work and the fulfillment of seeing a job done well. Advancement and new opportunities come through diligence and perseverance.
Present Life: The Hierophant
Underlying energy: 6 of Pentacles

Commentary:
The current life is about continuing to work on the soul to "level up". Six of Pentacles is also indicating the querant may be receiving quiet assistance on occasion from other beings - either human or divine or most likely, both - in this endeavor.
Future Possibility: Page of Swords
Underlying energy: Queen of Cups

Commentary:
Page of Swords often means delayed news so I am wondering if this is indicating the querant may "take a breather" before incarnating again? JMG may be right that the span between lives is going back to more traditional wait times as birthrates continue to fall.
It could also simply be indicating that the next life will be very good at speaking persuasively.

Skillful people. Dexterous and creative. Supple imaginations. Insightful and transformative. Extreme curiosity about everything. The born diplomat. The socially miscible fount of information. News about legal matters or governments. Silver-tongued speakers. Persuasive and conciliatory. Energetic and intelligent people. Thirst for knowledge. There is also the possibility this is indicating the next life will be female. If not female then as a male who will still be able to embody many of the capabilities the Queen of Cups is known for.

Commentary:
I believe this is an indication that Mars is particularly active in some way in Tanamous' daily activities.
Second Card: Saturn Dir_Above card 49 - p. 126

"The energies of Saturn show us where the boundaries lie so that we can either choose to stay within them or push them to their limit. This planet also rules over time-consuming and patient tasks such as gardening and agriculture, knowing that the results of hard work are worth it in the end."
Commentary:
Again, I believe this is an indication of stellar phenomena at work on the querant.
Third Card: Time of Day: Sunset Dir_West card 24 - p. 72

"If the Above appears, then allowing the stresses of the day to melt away may allow the inspiring stellar energy of the upper world to be felt."
Commentary:
Whatever troubles are happening let them go at the end of the day. If this is done higher celestial influences will have more pathways to work with the querant. Also, again, this makes me think querant may actually be receiving occasional, quiet, in-the-background assistance from the divine.

Commentary:
All three cards are indicating the current 'stellar weather' for the solar system are having an effect on the querant. Patience is good for this time as eventually the solar system will settle into its new location.
Overall this is a positive reading.
